Sooooooo.......... Poetry is what I'm dong today, (it's also what I learned in English today) so...poetrydefinition, poetry he art of rhythmical composition, written or spoken, for exciting pleasure by beautiful, imaginitive, or elevated thoughts. Poetry can rhyme, or it can, well, not rhyme. If it does rhyme there is something called a rhyme scheme that poets use to ven out their rhymes. Different types of poems are: couplets, sonnets, diamonte, haiku, and limericks, there is always just the regular old free form poem too. Here is on of my poems: Dark red, the rose sits,
Thorny stem lies in wait
In wait of the day it will defend its bloom,
Fragile dark red bloom
The day will come when dark red bloom, be plucked and taken
Regardless of the thorny valiant stalk
Death will come without her stem
Lovers, stem and bloom,
Doomed to die without each other

ORGANIZATION Yep, im doing a blog post on organization. You might ask how I'm going to do this, well, I'm not exactly sure. But here goes nothing: Organization, definition, To form as or into a whole consisting of interdependent or coordinating parts, especially for united action. Don't worry if you didn't follow that, you might have to think about it for a few seconds. So, orgization is the act of organizing, puttong a bunch of clutter into seperate categories for a better and more accessible lifestyle. I suggest taking inventory first. If you have limited containers, or seperations between your stuff available, you don't want to designate 1 container for, say, pencils, and have only one pencil. I'm going to give you a practice round, a list of stuff on my desk and information I need so I can properly organize it. PRACTICE ROUND. LIST OF STUFF: 2 hand sanitizers; eye drops; paper clips; 3 lip balms; 5 facial creams; 3 perfume bottles; mechanical pencil lead; nail file; mini-flashlight; 9 crayons; rubber band ball; 4 pencils; 8 colored pencils; 1 highlighter; and scissors. LIST OF CONTAINERS: 1 metal cup; organizer basket with 3 small sections and 1 large section. THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: I am a student (I do have homework everyday); I like to do art on a regular basis; at least 1 facial cream & 1 lip balm must be accessible. THE PLAN: in the metal cup goes: the highlighter, the pencils, colored pencils, crayons and scissors. In the first small section of the organizer basket put: 3 lip balms, 2 facial creams, and hand sanitizer. In the second small container put: 3 facial creams, a hand sanitizer and eye drops. In the third small section put; the 3 perfums and a nail file. In the large section put: the paper, held together by one of the paperclips; the paperclips; the mechanical pencil lead; mini-flashlight; rubber band ball. WHETHER you like this example of organization or not, this has been a great post. SHOOSHLE, the one person team behind the totally great and awesome Quarunkl

HOW TO MAKE BATH SALTS
MATERIALS: bottle or jar, preferably glass, decorated is nice. Epsom salts. Food coloring. And essential oil, preferably in an ambrosial scent.
HOW TO: Mix Epsom salts with food coloring to reach desired color/effect (the amount of Epsom salts that will fit in the jar is the amount if Epsom salts you need). Then mix in essential oils. Spread mixture out on wax paper to dry for a few hours. Put in jar. Tie a bow around jar and add a note.

my past 2 posts have been more creativity centered. just to show you how random Quarunkl truly is, here is a post about Messier object 97, the Owl Nebula.
OWL NEBULA
the owl nebula, messier object 97 is a planetary nebula. it was discoverd in 1781 by Pierre Mèchain. it is thought of as one of the more complex planetary nebulas (a planetary nebula forms planets). its about 6,000 years old. its called the owl nebula because of two darker spots in the middle, giving it a vague resemblance to an owl. it is located in the constellation Ursa Major, or "great bear".

Knitting, the art of wrapping string around sticks to create clloth. It may seem simple, but knitting is EXTREMELY fun. below are the basics of knitting
casting on: 1st, let the yarn drape over you knitting needles.
2nd, you should insert you thumb and forefinger into the yarn and pul back. It will look like the picture top left.
3rd, do you see how there are four strands? the first 2 form a loop around the thumb. the second 2 just go around your index finger. You are going to go UNDER the 1st strand, and OVER the 2nd and third strands, ignore the last strand. Now, going the other way, towards your thumb, go under the 3rd strand. now, do you see the loop formed around your thumb? Take the 3rd strand that you "grabbed", and put it through the loop around you thumb.
After: you have just formed your first two loops, that you will use to knit with. When you keep casting on, you will only get one loop. IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO THAT.
Knitting
STEP 1: hold the needle with all the stitches on it in your left hand. (If you are lefthanded it will not matter if you use your left hand or your right hand.) Hold the empty needle in the hand NOT holding the needle fullof stitches.
STEP 2: slide the empty needle(we will call this needle #1) under the loop on the needle full of stitches(this is needle #2). make sure needle #2 is under needle #1 and both of them are inside the first stitch. Now wrap the long end of the yarn around needle #2. this next bit is tricky. the part you wrappped around needle #2, twist it down and under the first stitch. now slide the stitch off needle #1.
AFTER: you have now completed your first stitch. Congratulations!!!!

Playdough!!!!! (the edible type)
So... This is my first post. It is on edible playdough
there are basically 3 types of edible playdough. one is more playdough than edible(it does NOT taste good)the next is peanut butter based, and the third is just, well miscellaneous.
the first recipe id for the miscellaneous category: butterdough
ingredients: 1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup flour
instructions: mix butter and flour (it would be helpful if you used a blender or hand-held mixing device)(you maay want to make a larger or smaller amount, this is easy, its 2 parts flour to one part butter. you can use tablespoon teaspoons or whatever measurement you want)
this concludes my first ever blog post. i hoped you enjoyed it. there will be more edible playdough recipes coming soon.
