Poetry is what I'm dong today, (it's also what I learned in English today) so...poetrydefinition, poetry he art of rhythmical composition, written or spoken, for exciting pleasure by beautiful, imaginitive, or elevated thoughts. Poetry can rhyme, or it can, well, not rhyme. If it does rhyme there is something called a rhyme scheme that poets use to ven out their rhymes. Different types of poems are: couplets, sonnets, diamonte, haiku, and limericks, there is always just the regular old free form poem too.
